On January 11, a five-member delegation led by Satarkina Evgenia, Director of the International Division of St. Petersburg and Peter the Great Polytechnic University in Russia, arrived at Xi'an Technological University to begin a one-day exchange visit.
In the morning, under the guidance of Liu Weiguo, Secretary of the Party Committee of XATU and Head of the Key Laboratory, Jian Zengyun, Dean of School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Chen Weixing and Guo Yongchun, vice president of School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, and Wang Hongxi, vice president of School of Mechatronic Engineering, the foreign guests visited some laboratories in the relevant schools, and had a deep understanding of the strength of scientific research in our university, which have laid a good foundation on in-depth cooperation of related majors. Later, foreign guests visited School of International Education and Smart Classrooms. After learning about the hardware foundation and software support of our university, they highly appreciated the modern teaching concept and environment of our university.
In the afternoon symposium, the two sides exchanged the ideas on the Short-term Exchange Plan for Graduate Students in 2020 and the 2020 Summer Camp Project. The discussion focused on the comprehensive cooperation plan, and reached a broad consensus on the cooperation time and model. Both sides agreed to further promote the development of bilateral cooperation in a deeper and broader direction.
