On April 17, 2025, the delegation of Russian Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University(SPbPU),led by Ludmila Pankova,Rector for Teaching and Learning,visited XATU and took part in serial celebrating activities of the 70th anniversary of XATU foundation.
President Yao Yao cordially met with the guests, accompanied by Vice President Yan Li, and first extended a warm welcome to Rector Pankova and her entourage. He pointed out,since the establishment of the cooperative relationship between the two universities in 2018,the two parties have interacted frequently, the inter-university cooperative relationship has been enhanced, the scope and field of cooperation have been continuously expanded, the joint institution of Xi'an St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute has continued to develop well, and new breakthroughs have been made in scientific research cooperation.
Rector Pankova conveyed to President Yao Yao of XATU the greetings of Mr. Rudskoy,the President of SPbPU and expressed her gratitude for the invitation. On the 70th birthday of XATU, she read out the congratulatory letter from SPbPU. She pointed out that SPbPU attaches great importance to the cooperation with XATU, Xi'an St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute has become a landmark achievement of the cooperation between the two universities, and SPbPU will be committed to further expanding and deepening the mutual cooperation and promoting the mutual high-quality development.
