October 18 to 20, the national finals of the "Challenge Cup" National Undergraduate Curricular Academica Science and Technology Competition in the field of Artificial Intelligence national finals concluded at East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai.
XATU competition project“Attention Tracking Precision Detection System Based on Artificial Intelligence in Simulated Flight Driving Environment”won the national special prize.
This project was co-completed by Wu Gongpu, Wang Pengbo, Chen Zehui and other students under the guidance of professors Wang Changyuan, Wang Hongxi and Xue Pengxiang.
The project tackles the pain points in key operation tracking and detection for simulated flight training.Through multidisciplinary collaboration with educational institutions, it explores the fundamental principles of human visual perception. By optimizing materials and innovating hardware/software architectures, the team has developed a comprehensive attention tracking system that ensures precise detection throughout the training process, providing robust support for simulated flight training.The project team actively engages in cutting-edge research to address critical national needs, continuously tracking the updated technological advancements. Their dedication to solving practical challenges in aviation simulation training demonstrates the youthful commitment of XATU students in serving national strategies.
