Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the list of selected individuals for the "2025 Shaanxi Provincial Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation for Middle-aged and Young Scholars" and the "2026 Shaanxi Provincial Young Science and Technology Stars". A total of seven faculty members from our university have been successfully selected, ranking among the top provincial universities in terms of the number of selections.
Professor Jin Xilang from the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering and one other faculty member were selected as the "2025 Shaanxi Provincial Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation for Middle-aged and Young Scholars".
Five associate professors, including Associate Professor Tan Zhenkun from the School of Optoelectronic Engineering, Associate Professor Zhang Chuanyun from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Associate Professor Cui Wengang from the Institute of New Energy Science and Technology, Associate Professor Huo Jinrong from the College of Basic Sciences, and Associate Professor Tao Yu from the School of Ordnance Science and Technology, were selected as the "2026 Shaanxi Provincial Young Science and Technology Stars".
