Recently, the 5th International Conference on Green Building, Civil Engineering and Smart City (GBCESC 2026), hosted by Xi'an Technological University, was successfully convened at the Universal Vista Hotel in Xi'an. President Yaoyao delivered an opening‑ceremony address.
Rooted in Western China and oriented towards major national development strategies of green low‑carbon development, intelligent construction and resilient cities, the conference called for cutting‑edge academic contributions worldwide. The organizing committee set up a professional academic committee consisting of experts from more than one hundred universities and research institutions home and abroad. Experts from Xi'an Technological University, Guilin University of Technology, Central South University, Beijing University of Technology and other universities served as Conference Chairs, Co‑Chairs and Technical Chairs. Scholars from overseas institutions including Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (Russia), University of South Australia, Al‑Hashemite University (Jordan) and Concordia University (Canada) took in‑depth part in the academic organization work, ensuring high academic standards and global vision for the conference.
