The Organizing Committee of the World Women University Presidents Forum extends to you our sincere greetings and cordially invites you to attend the 9th World Women University Presidents Forum.
Established in 2001, the World Women University Presidents Forum has successfully held eight major forums in China and ten sub-forums in Auckland (New Zealand), Tokyo (Japan), Hawaii (USA), Istanbul (Turkey), Harare (Zimbabwe), Monterrey (Mexico), Kathmandu (Nepal), Tampere (Finland), Bucharest (Romania) and Yekaterinburg (Russia) respectively. During the past 20 years, the Forum has involved over 1,100 women university presidents from more than 100 countries and regions. As a global network and support platform for leaders, academics, and practitioners in the fields of higher education and women’s leadership, the Forum has steadily grown in its scope and diversity with recognition and support from various parts of the world.
The 9th Forum will take place from November 6th to November 9th,2020, partially virtual in ZOOM, and partially physical in Xi’an, China. The theme of the Forum is “Global Empathy·Mutual Learning Among Civilizations·University Innovation.” The four sub-themes are (1) The Changing Global Landscape & Mutual Learning Among Civilizations; (2) Smart Society & University Innovation; (3) University Governance & Sustainable Development; (4) Gender Equality &Women’s Leadership. The theme and the sub-themes will be explored and discussed in the form of keynote speeches, and round table.
The Forum will be hosted by the Organizing Committee of WWUPF/Women Leadership Academy, Xi’an Technological University and the Communication University of China.
