On September 11th, the Russian Guest of Honor Week of the 18th China International Talent Exchange Conference, namely, the “Future-oriented Talents” Science and Education Innovation Cooperation Exchange Conference of Sino-Russian Universities, opened at the Sino-Russian Silk Road Innovation Park in Xixian New Area, Xi’an. The conference aimed to promote Sino-Russian technology exchanges and the international cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities. Vice President Liu Bo attended the meeting.
On behalf of Xi’an Technological University, Liu Bo signed A Cooperation Agreement on Accelerator Program with the Sino-Russian Silk Road Innovation Park in Fengdong New Town, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and the Shanghai Pue Incubator.
During the promotion part of Chinese and Russian universities, Liu Bo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the organizers for holding this meeting in the context of the new era of China-Russian comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination. He also gave a brief introduction to Xi’an Technological University and the background of cooperation between Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Xi’an Technological University. Liu Bo said that the Shengli Information Science Institute of XATU was a new milestone in the cooperation between the two universities, which was of great significance for realizing international scientific research and innovation cooperation, improving the quality of international education, and promoting the transformation of domestic and foreign scientific and technological achievements. He said that our university would continue to deepen the cooperation with more Russian universities in various fields to jointly serve the training of new talents and the strategic development needs of the two countries.
Ma Yanhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fengdong New Town in Xixian New Area, Wang Jun, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province, and the leaders of Xi’an Jiaotong University and other universities attended the meeting.
