On April 29, the results of the 28th “China Youth May Fourth Medal” selection were announced. Li Mengyue, our alumna from the 2014 undergraduate class of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at our university, was awarded the 28th “China Youth May Fourth Medal.”
The China Youth May Fourth Medal is the highest honor awarded to outstanding Chinese youth by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the China Youth Federation. It aims to recognize exemplary young individuals who are politically progressive, morally outstanding, and have made significant contributions. This award reflects the spiritual character and value pursuits of the Chinese youth.
Li Mengyue is an alumna of the 2014 undergraduate class of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at our university. During her career, she has received several honors, including “National Outstanding Member of the Communist Youth League,” “National Woman Pace-setter,” “National Technical Expert,” and “Shaanxi May 1st Woman Pace-setter.” She has consistently excelled in her position, striving for continuous improvement and excellence in her technical skills. On the front line of aviation equipment development, she embodies the spirit of dedication to the nation’s aviation industry in the new era. With her sincere and relentless efforts, she writes a brilliant chapter of the Chinese youth. She is an outstanding representative of young military industrial workers of Shaanxi Province and a role model for all students of our university.
