On July 17, 2025, the championship match and award ceremony of Shaanxi Division of China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) were held at the Student Center, Weiyang Campus, Xi’an Technological University (XATU).
Taking the theme on “Dare to Innovate, Create with Confidence”, this competition attracted over 100,000 projects from 107 schools and 438,800 participants across Shaanxi Province, setting a new record for participation. The entries covered cutting-edge fields including artificial intelligence, new energy, low-altitude economy, aerospace, chip design, medical services, smart transportation, cultural dissemination, and rural revitalization, showcasing the reform achievements of Shaanxi universities in developing new engineering disciplines, medical sciences, agricultural sciences, and humanities. After rigorous multi-round evaluations, 639 projects advanced to the provincial finals, with 8 making it to the championship showdown.
After intense competition in the championship round, the project of “Liquid Fire Expedition-Commercial Aerospace Liquid Rocket Engine Standardization Experiment project”, provided by Xi’an Aeronautical Polytechnics Institute, won the championships in Vocational Education Track; The project of “I Restore Cultural Relics in Chang’an”, referred by Xi’an Technological University, achieved the championship in Youth Red Dream Journey Track; The project of “Powder Jet Delivery-Powder Transport Device for Ramjet Engines”, by Xi’an Jiaotong University, gained the championship in Higher Education Main Track; and the project of “Bamboo Shield Ice Defense-Large-Scale UAV De-icing Technology”, by Northwestern Polytechnical University, acquired the championship in Industrial Track.
