Recently, 2025 "Southern-Surveying-and-Mapping Cup" College Student’s Innovative Entrepreneurship Intelligent Competition in Surveying and Mapping Discipline was successfully held in Shaanxi Province. Organized by Shaanxi Society of Surveying and Mapping and hosted by Xi' an Branch of Guangzhou Southern Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd., the event attracted 329 participants from 17 universities including Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Xi' an Technological University, Northwest A&F University, Chang 'an University, Northwest University, Air Force Engineering University, Xi' an University of Technology, and Xi'an University of Science and Technology.
XATU won 29 awards, including 1 Outstanding Organization Award, 6 Special Prizes, 18 First Prizes and 4 Second Prizes. The total number of awards ranked first among the participating universities in Shaanxi Province.
