To thoroughly implement the important practices of the 2024 China-Belarus Prime Ministers' Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation, focusing on the frontier cooperation such as space exploration, new energy, and advanced materials, Chinese Branch of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was officially inaugurated in Xi' an on June 23, 2025.
Hou Chengyi, Party Secretary of Xi 'an Technological University, and Yan Li, Vice President of Xi' an Technological University, and nearly 300 experts and scholars from National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and other countries were invited to attend the grand event.
At the ceremony, Hou Chengyi and Yan Li communicated with participating experts on international scientific research cooperation and other work.
This conference is a significant event which Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) and Xi'an Technological University (XATU) jointly advance the international development since the two universities signed the cooperation agreement and established a counterpart assistance mechanism.
Our university will leverage this platform to actively participate in high-level international academic activities among China, Belarus and Russia, and continue to explore new pathways for educational cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
